Many people ask me if British people and American people can understand each other and the answer is yes.
Pronunciation may differ and some spelling and grammar are slightly different but because of the cross culture of films, books, music etc. we never have difficulty communicating.
Here are a few examples of differences.
イギリス人とアメリカ人はお互い何を言っているのか分かるのですか？とよく尋ねられるのですが、答えは「イエス」です。発音が異なる場合はありますし、綴りと文法も、少し違うところはあります。ですが、映画、本、音楽などでお互いの文化が入ってくるので、何を言っているのか分からずに困るということは、全くありません。イギリスとアメリカで異なるものの例を、いくつか挙げておきます。
