今週末のレッスン内容 – ポップカルチャー
Hello everyone, our classes this week in Yakuin and in Akasaka will be about pop culture.
When I first came to Japan, I was a little bit shocked (You don’t know David Hasselhof?) by how many well known films and dramas my students had never heard of.
Famous songs, films, dramas, books and sporting events are referenced often in native speakers’ conversation, so understanding some of them is part of English study.
Luckily it’s a very fun part and today I’ll share with you a video with some very famous movie quotes that many Westerners would probably understand right away.
We’ll use it in our classes too if time allows. If you have any questions please ask me at our classes!

今週のレッスン内容 – ポップカルチャー
皆さまこんにちは。今週の薬院校と赤坂校のレッスン内容は「ポップカルチャー」です。
初めて私が日本に来たとき、多くの生徒さまがヨーロッパで有名な映画やドラマを知らなかった事にすこしショックを受けました。(David Hasselhofを知らないですか？)
ネイティブスピーカーの会話はよく有名な歌、映画、ドラマ、本そしてスポーツイベントから頻繁に引用されます。それらを理解する事は、英語の勉強に繋がりますよ。
ラッキーな事にそれはとても楽しいので、私は皆様に有名な映画をシェアしたいと思います。
