Hello everyone, thanks so much for coming to the party last Saturday, the staff at Tonerico were really impressed with your level of English and Tim and I were really impressed, you all did 2 hours of non-stop English! Well done.
The topic for this weekend is agreeing and disagreeing. Here is what we are going to be doing.
Level 1
Simple phrases to agree and disagree about personal feelings or actions.
I am nervous. 緊張しています。
So am I. 私もです。
I went to Tenjin yesterday. 昨日天神に行きました。
So did I. 私もです。
I want to eat ramen. ラーメンが食べたいです。
So do I. 私もです。
I’m not happy. 幸せではありません。
Neither am I. 私もです。
I didn’t go to work on Wednesday. 水曜日仕事に行きませんでした。
Neither did I. 私もです。
I don’t want to go to work tomorrow. 明日仕事に行きたくありません。
Neither do I. 私もです。
I am hot. 暑いです。
I’m not. 私は暑くありません。
I didn’t go to the gym last week. 先週ジムに行きませんでした。
I did. 私は行きました。
I want to eat pizza. ピザが食べたいです。
I don’t. 私は食べたくないです。
Using comparatives adjective and agreeing/ disagreeing on things we use in our everyday lives.

Level 2
The same as level 1 but we will be using practicing how to use verb+ subject to respond to a statement and we will use superlative adjective forms.

I went to the cinema yesterday. 昨日映画に行きました。
Did you? So did I. 行ったの？私もです。
I want to eat Indian tonight. 今夜はインド料理が食べたいです。

Aren’t you? 幸せではないの？
Neither am I. 私もです。
I didn’t go to work on Wednesday. 水曜日仕事に行きませんでした。

Level 3
In level 3 we will be showing you how to use a lot of different ways to show level of agreement/ disagreement and we will be discussing some topics of these topics so have a think about them before you come to class please.
