日常英会話レッスン – spring chicken
Hello there! Today’s wonderful English expression is also connected to the time of year and it means to be young.
Strangely though we hardly ever use it to describe someone’s youth and instead to talk about the fact that we are getting older.
For example
“Just climbing the stairs to my office wears me out nowadays! I’m no spring chicken anymore.”
