Travel English – At the Airport – Announcements At The Gate
Hello everyone, One of my students told me recently that it is very difficult for her to understand the announcements at the airport. Actually I think it is very hard for most to understand them as airports tend to be very noisy places.
In any case, for your convenience, I prepared some announcements we usually hear at the airport.

“There has been a gate change.”

“Japan Airlines flight 330 to Helsinki is now boarding.”

“Please have your boarding pass and identification ready for boarding.”

“We would like to invite our first-class and business-class passengers to board.”

“We are now inviting passengers with small children and any passengers requiring special assistance to begin boarding.”

“We would now like to invite all passengers to board.”
-
“This is the final boarding call for Japan Airlines flight 330 to Helsinki.”

“Passenger Zhang Xi, please proceed to the Japan Airlines desk at gate 4.”
