How to study English – Record yourself.

Recently we have been recording our flashcards for trial lessons and for the lessons at kindergartens. I asked my wife to help me out with this and she was reluctant at first but after a while she really started to like it and now she is doing it every day by herself to try and improve her pronunciation before we head off to the U.K next month

Doing this on quizlet costs money though, so I recommend you try her method. She really likes british English so she has been copying British artists or actors that she likes, recording it, playing it back to herself and then doing it over until she is satisfied.

It seems to be working rather well but it does make me laugh from time to time when I’m trying to work and I can hear it coming out of the kitchen!

In all honest though, her pronunciation is getting better and it is motivating her to do more so it seems that we have stumbled on a nice way to study completely by accident!

最近私たちはトライアルレッスンや幼稚園レッスンのためにフラッシュカードを声で録音しています。私はこの作業を手伝ってもらうよう妻にお願いしました。

彼女は最初は気乗りしていなかったのですが、あとからとても好きになり始め、今では来月のU.K旅行の前に発音が向上するように彼女自身で毎日録音するよう心がけています。

クイズレットのアプリで声を録音するのにはお金がかかりますので、私は彼女の方法を試してみることをおすすめします。彼女はイギリス英語が大好きですから、彼女が好きなイギリスの歌手や俳優の発音をコピーし、録音し、聞きなおすというのを満足するまで繰り返します。

それは彼女にとってとてもうまく働いているように見えますが、私が仕事をしようとするとキッチンのほうからその声が聞こえてくるので、たまに笑ってしまいます。

正直、彼女の発音は上達していますし、それが彼女のモチベーションを上げています。　　　　　とっても良い勉強法が偶然見つかりました！
