How to study English – Word association
Hello again, a few weeks back there was some pretty bad weather and I noticed that a lot of my students had real trouble describing it, so I thought about a site I’d seen before which is the Word Association Network.
This is pretty useful because for example if you type in the word typhoon, it will give you a list of nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs to go with it. Plus it will give you the wiktionary definition, the dictionary definition, slang and different phrases/ idioms that are associated with the word.
