今週末のレッスン内容 – Halloween
Hello everyone,
This weekend at our Yakuin, Ropponmatsu and Akasaka classrooms we’ll be talking about Halloween. We are going to start by using the verb “celebrate” and then ask how we celebrate different holidays and what our favourite holiday is.
Then we are going to talk about Halloween specifically and talk about what we usually do on that day. My students’ answer is usually nothing so we move on and talk about things we are scared of. We can learn different ways of saying scared, and talk about whether we believe in some supernatural things such as ghosts, haunted houses, spirits etc…
Finally we are going to talk about scary experiences we have had, scary films we have watched, scary places we have been to etc…

今週末のレッスン内容 – Halloween
みなさんこんにちは。
今週末の薬院校、六本松校、赤坂校ではハロウィンにちなんだレッスンをします。
最初に“celebrate”という動詞を使い、それぞれの祝日をどのように祝うか、そしてみなさんの好きな祝日などについて尋ねます。
それからハロウィンには普段なにをするかについて具体的にみなさんと話します。生徒のみなさんはおそらく普段はなにもしないと答えた場合は少し話題を変えて私たちを怯えさせる物についても話していこうと思います。
そして最後に怖かった体験、怖かった映画、恐ろしい場所などについても話していきましょう。
私たちは怖いと言う表現を様々な方法で学ぶことができ、幽霊、お化け屋敷、心霊現象なものを信じるかどうかについて話をしましょう。
