How to study English－Don’t second guess yourself!

Hi there!

The expression above means that you should trust yourself and not question your own abilities. I’ve noticed that a lot of my students hesitate to give me their first answer even if it’s the correct one. There is no shame in making mistakes, as I’ve said before, it’s one of the best ways to learn. You have done a lot of English study since you were in school so most of the knowledge is already there, now you just have to be brave enough to actually get it out in the open and the only way to do that is by using what you know, believe me native English speakers don’t mind if you make a mistake, we appreciate you trying!

My advice today is to trust your instincts and just go with it. You may be surprised at what you can actually do and even if you got it wrong at least you tried and now you know for next time.

今日の私のアドバイスは、あなたの直観を信頼してそれに従うことです。実際には自分はできるんだ！と驚くかもしれませんし、もし間違っていたとしても少なくともあなたはトライしましたし、次につなげることができます。
