日常英会話レッスン -phone expressions
Hello there everyone, I had a wonderful pain free experience in the Apple Store last week so I’m mostly going to be talking about topics connected to phones this week.
Here are a few phone related expressions.
・Pocket dial
When you accidentally call someone without knowing it when you are walking and your phone is in your pocket.
・Hang up on someone
Can mean both to just end the call or to end the call abruptly mid sentence for example when you are angry or having a quarrel.
・Pick up the phone
This just means to answer the phone.
・Call back
To return a call.
・Put on hold.
To make someone wait on the phone.
