How to study English – Use the expressions from last class

Hello everyone,

My advice today applies more to private students but I think group students can also make some use of it. We acquire language through using it in the proper context so using new vocabulary or expressions sometimes is a necessary step to making them ours.

One way to do it is to always review last class’s vocabulary and expressions and make sure to use it in our next class. Our private lessons usually start with a review of the last class so make sure to both study for the next class but also review what you did last class too.

For suggestions on what expressions or grammar is more important please feel free to always ask our teachers!

みなさんこんにちは。

今日の私のアドバイスは、少しプライベートの生徒さん向けにはなりますが、グループレッスンの生徒さんもいくつか使えるものがあると思います。

私たちは言語を、適切な文脈の中で使い、習得していきます。なので、新しい語彙や表現を時々使うのは、それを身につけるのに必要なことなのです。

それをする方法のひとつとして、前に入ったレッスンで出た語彙や表現をいつも復習し、次のレッスンで使うことです。私たちのプライベートレッスンは通常前のレッスンの復習から始めますので、次のレッスンの勉強だけでなく前のレッスンでやったことの復習もやってください。

どんな表現や文法がより大事なのかは、いつでも遠慮なく講師に聞いてください！
