What are some famous Greek foods?

Did you all know that I come from Greece? Well if you didn’t, you do now. Students who hear that for the first time sometimes ask me what some famous Greek foods are.
I think the most famous Greek food is the “souvlaki”.
Souvlaki is Greece’s favourite fast food, it’s chunks of skewered pork served with chopped tomatoes and onions in pitta bread with tzatziki ( tzatziki is yogurt mixed with cucumbers, garlic, salt, olive oil and dill).
I love Souvlaki, it’s the food I miss the most from my country. Last time I went to Greece, I stayed there for 10 days and ate souvlaki on every day for both lunch and dinner. Yes, it’s that delicious!!
Hope you can try it somewhere or after the pandemic is over, we can open a Greek restaurant for you in Fukuoka to enjoy “souvlaki”!

有名なギリシャ料理にはどんなものがある？
こんにちは
私がギリシャ出身だとご存知でしたか？ ご存じなかった方も、これでもうチェック済みですね。初めてそれを聞いた生徒さんたちから時々、有名なギリシャ料理は何ですか、と質問されます。
一番有名なギリシャ料理は “souvlaki（スブラキ）” だと思います。
スブラキはギリシャの一番人気のあるファーストフードです。豚肉の串焼きで刻んだトマトや玉ねぎと一緒にピタ（パン）に はさみ、“tzatziki（ザジキ＝きゅうり、ニンニク、塩、オリーブ、ディルをヨーグルトに混ぜたもの）” を添えて出されます。
私はスブラキが大好きで、ギリシャを離れているときに一番恋しくなるお国料理です。前回ギリシャに戻ったときは10日間ほどいたのですが、そのあいだ毎日、昼も夜もスブラキを食べました。ええ、それほど美味しいんですよ!!
皆さんもどこかで召し上がる機会があるといいなと思います。あるは、コロナのパンデミックが終わったら、福岡にギリシャ料理のレストランをオープンしてスブラキを楽しんでもらってもいいかもしれませんね！
