What we are doing in Kensington – Home and Neighbourhood
These days I’ve been talking a lot about Home and Neighbourhood with many of my students. I used to live in Minami Ward in the south of the city, but last year I moved to Hirao, where I’m still living now. It’s a very convenient neighbourhood with lots of nice little restaurants, bakeries and cafes. It also has great transport links, with Hirao Station and plenty of bus routes. It’s really near Yakuin, Daimyo and Akasaka – so it’s easy to get to the city centre. If you’re thinking of moving apartment this year or next, I totally recommend Hirao – and if you see me in the street, remember to say “Hello!”

ケンジントンでのできごと - 住んでいる地域について英語で話そう
最近はよく、Home(我が家）とNeighbourhood(ご近所、地域）について多くの生徒さんと話しています。私は以前、市の南に位置する南区に住んでいましたが、去年平尾に引っ越し、今もそこに住んでいます。とても便利な地域で、小さくて素敵なレストラン、パン屋やカフェがたくさんあります。平尾駅のほかにバス路線も多くあるので、交通の便もよいです。薬院や大名、赤坂にも大変近いので、街の中心部に行くのも簡単です。もしもあなたが今年か来年に引っ越しを考えているのであれば、平尾を100％おすすめします。（私に道であったら、’Hello!’と挨拶してくださいね！）
