Our new academic year
2020 was a really tough year for Kensington as it was for most companies around the world, we suddenly saw what was going to be our best year ever develop into a nightmare, losing over 30% of our adult students and in the process having to separate with beloved coworkers.
I think we did a good job at regrouping after our losses though and we are starting the 2021 academic year with what I think is the best lineup of teachers and staff that we have ever had. Kensington is swiftly becoming THE place to work at if you are a talented, hardworking and personable English teacher or a talented, hardworking Japanese worker with good to great English ability.
Now it’s our responsibility to maximise what all these talented people can achieve in the coming year. It’s a pretty challenging task but super exciting and wouldn’t change my job for anything in the world!

私の出身地、私自身～講師の自己紹介
新年度を迎えて
2020年は世界中の他の企業と同じようにケンジントンにとっても大変な一年であり、過去一番素晴らしい年になる予定だったものが一点、悪夢のような一年になりました。大人のスクールでは30％以上の生徒さんがケンジントンを去ってしまい、大切な同僚たちともお別れをしなくてはなりませんでした。
しかし、私達はこれらの喪失にもくじけず、チームとして一致団結して、2021年のスクールイヤーを今まで以上に素晴らしい講師陣やスタッフとともに始めることができたと感じています。ケンジントンは才能があり、働き者である、個性的な英語講師や高い英語能力をもった才能のある、働き者の日本人スタッフが集まる仕事場になってきています。
今、これらの素晴らしい同僚とともにこの年で達成できることを最大限大きくしていくことが私達がすべきことです。これはとても難しいことですが、同時にワクワクすることでもあり、世界中の他の何にも変えられない仕事です。
皆さんも一緒にスクールを盛り上げていきましょう！
