Easter in my Country
Hi everyone,
April 3rd was Easter for most of the world but not for my country, in my country the easter day is always different. I’m not so sure why but then again I never checked. This year the Greek Easter is on Sunday, May 2nd.
Easter used to be my favourite time of the year (together with summer of course) and the reason for that was partly the weather which is amazing in Greece at that time of the year and also the way that we celebrate it.
On Easter day, my dad and my older brother would wake up early in the morning and make a fire, and once the fire was ready they would spitfire a whole lamb on it. They would start drinking and having a good time from early in the morning (7:00am was really early for me when I was younger) and by the time I would wake up (about 11:00 or 12:00) the lamb was almost ready to eat.
Food was delicious, but most importantly the memories we made were precious.
If you ever travel in Greece this time of year, please try to celebrate Greek Easter too!

私の出身国のイースター
やぁ皆さん
私の国を除き、世界中の殆どの国では、4月3日がイースターでした。
私の国ではいつもイースターの日が他の国々と違います、なぜなのかはよくわかりませんし、調べたこともありませんが。
ギリシャの今年のイースターは5月2日の日曜日です。
イースターは私が1年で最も好きな時間でした（夏と一緒です、もちろん）。
1年のうちでも、その時期のギリシャの気候は素晴らしいですし、お祝いの仕方なども理由のひとつです。
イースターの日、父と兄は早起きして火をおこします。火の準備ができたら、羊を一頭丸ごと火の中へ。
彼らは朝早く（7時は若い頃の私には早朝でした）から飲み始め、良い時間を過ごしていました。
私が起きる（11:00か12：00位）頃までには羊は大体食べる準備ができていました。
食べ物は美味しかったです、でも私にとって最も重要なの私たちが作った思い出で、それはとても貴重なものです。
もしあなたがこの時期にギリシャに旅行に行くことがあれば、ギリシャのイースターも楽しんでみて下さい。
