“Mobile Money”
Have you ever heard of Mobile Money? Well, it’s a technology that allows people to receive, store(save) and spend money using a mobile phone. You don’t need a bank account or a credit card to use Mobile money. All you need is a registered mobile phone. It’s easy to use, safe and can be used anywhere there is a mobile phone signal. It’s very popular in Africa. In fact in my home country Uganda, more than 30 million people( Mar 2020) use mobile money to buy and sell things, pay taxes, pay bills, send money to relatives, get loans and other financial services. All thanks to the wonderful magic of the internet!

モバイルマネーという言葉を聞いたことがありますか？
これは人々が携帯電話を使ってお金の受け取り、貯金、支払いなどができる技術です。
モバイルマネーを使うために必要なのは登録した携帯電話のみ、銀行口座やクレジットカードは必要ありません。
使い方はとても簡単で安全、しかも携帯電話の電波が届く場所であればどこでも使用することができるのです。
モバイルマネーはアフリカではとても人気です。実際に私の出身国ウガンダでは、3000万人以上の人々が、物の売買、税金や公共料金の支払い、親族への仕送りや、ローン等々の金融サービスに使用しています（2020年3月時点）。
すべてインターネットの素晴らしい魔法のおかげです！
