Mirror Your Teacher

A good form of learning language and using it actively is the concept of “Mirroring”.
Mirroring your teacher means to repeat what they say in order to understand how the words they said are used.
For example, when you copy what I say after I have said it, you’re actively practicing your listening, your speaking and your memory. You are memorizing what the person is saying, and usually in a context that is important.
Do this as often as you can. It’s how I also learned most of my Japanese – through watching what others do and saying what they say, while observing the context as to which it was said in.

語学を学び、積極的に使う為の良い形として、ミラーリングという考え方があります。
講師をミラーリングするとは、彼らが言った言葉がどの様に使われたかを理解する為に、講師が言った事を繰り返す事です。
例えば、私が言った後にその言葉を真似する事で、リスニング、スピーキング、そして記憶力の積極的な練習になります。
通常、あなたは人が言ったことを状況と共に記憶していて、それはとても重要な事です。
これを、できるだけ多く行って下さい。
他の人が何をしているかを見て、彼らが言った事を言い、その言葉がどの様な状況の中で使われたのかを観察しながら、私も多くの日本語を学びました。
