Hi, Denny here.
If I am perfectly honest, I don’t actually read the news much in my free time. I focus a lot on technology, psychology and ideas, but usually avoid the rest.
It’s not because I don’t like reading about what is happening, but the reality is that with modern technology, you have the entire world’s news in your hand – in the form of a smart phone. It’s amazing, but also dangerous, because it can keep you away from what matters, which is your life and happiness!
Sometimes, news is great. Most of the time though, it distracts us from what’s important. In my case, painting and teaching.

正直に言うと、私は自分の自由な時間にそう沢山のニュースを読んでいる訳ではありません。私はテクノロジー、心理学、そしてアイデアの分野に集中し、普段はそれ以外は避けています。
起こっていることについて読むのが嫌いな訳ではなく、現代テクノロジーでは、世界中のニュースはスマートフォンという形であなたの手の中にあるのが現実です。
これは素晴らしいことですが、危険なことでもあります。なぜなら、あなたを人生と幸せから遠ざけることも可能だからです！
時々はニュースは素晴らしいものです。しかし多くの場合、重要なことから気をそらしてしまいます。私の場合、絵を描くことと、教えることです。
