What we are doing in Kensington
Hiring Season has come!
The beginning of the year is an exciting time, people usually feel very refreshed after the winter holidays and think of new beginnings! For us the beginning of the new year is also officially the start of the hiring season and this year too we’ll be very active looking for new high quality staff for our schools.
At the moment we are looking for 2 Japanese teaching assistants and 2 foreign teachers for our kids’ schools. In the next couple of months and after having seen how the adult school situation is evolving we’ll also make a decision whether to hire one more part time foreign teacher for our adult school. Hopefully business will have picked up and we’ll decide to bring one more new face to our adult school too.
Hiring the right people is hard and it’s impossible to get 100% right. I think in Kensington so far we have been lucky (and competent!) with our hiring and we have a great lineup of Japanese and foreign staff.

採用シーズンがやって来ました！
年の初めはエキサイティングな時期です。
冬休みの後はリフレッシュした気分なので、人々はよく新たに何かを始めようかと考えます。
ケンジントン英会話にとっては、新年の始まりは正式な採用シーズンの始まりです。
今年も新たに質の高いスタッフを探すために真剣に取り組んでいます。
現在、私たちはケンジントンキッズアカデミー(子ども向け英会話)のために、講師を補助する日本人アシスタント2名と外国人講師2名の募集をしています。
次の数か月で、ケンジントン英会話(おとな向け英会話)の状況を分析し、ケンジントン英会話にも1名のパートタイムの外国人講師を雇うかどうかを決定する予定です。
うまくいってビジネスが回復したら、もう1名の新顔を追加するかもしれません。
適切な人材を見つけることは困難なため、100%適切に採用することは不可能です。
ケンジントン英会話では、これまでのところ、採用は幸運に恵まれ有能な日本人スタッフと外国人スタッフが働いています。
