Talk about myself/my hometown/my country
My hometown
Today I will talk about my hometown using vocabulary and grammar from our level 2 class “ Talk about your city”.
I grew up in a very peaceful and beautiful suburb of Athens called Dionysos. It’s a very safe and nice place to live. It hasn’t got any shops or restaurants so it’s slightly inconvenient and you really need a car to live there. The cost of living there is rather high and it’s a long commute from where most of the jobs are (in Athens). There usually is a traffic jam in the morning and evening so going to and returning from work may take you a lot of time. There is a lot of nature though so maybe it’s worth it!

私の故郷
今日は、今週のレッスン「Talk about your city」のLeve2で使う語彙と文法を使って、私の故郷について話したいと思います。(ぜひ英語版を読んで語彙と文法を確認してみてください)
私はディオニソスと呼ばれる、とても平和で美しいアテネの郊外で育ちました。
とても安全で住みやすいところですが、お店やレストランがなく少し不便なので、そこに住むには車が必要です。
生活費はかなり高くなるし、ほとんどの仕事がある場所（アテネ）からの通勤時間は長くなります。
通常、朝と夕方は渋滞が発生するため、通勤や帰宅に時間がかかる場合があります。
自然はたくさんありますけどね。なので、それだけの価値があるはず！
