Happy Friday, everyone! Any plans for the weekend? Our everyday English expression this week is “Every cloud has a silver lining” It means that even in very bad or negative
situations, there may be good or positive outcomes.
Keita was really disappointed when he failed the medical school entrance Examinations last year. He went to cram school and studied hard, now he’s been admitted to a higher ranking medical school than he’d tried to enter last year! Every cloud has a silver lining!
