Up in the air
Hello again everyone and happy Monday! Today’s business expression is “up in the air” which means that plans are either rather uncertain to happen or haven’t been decided yet.
Example
We were going to move ahead on the new project this spring but with the department head suddenly quitting things are up in the air until a new one is appointed.
We need to draft a new contract soon but so many things are still up in the air that we can’t move forward right now.
